# How to Add a Barcode Input Field in OpnForm?

Adding a barcode input field to your form is easy with OpnForm. Here’s how you can do it:

## Step 1: Open the Form Editor

1. Go to the form you want to edit or create a new form from your dashboard.

## Step 2: Add a New Block

1. Locate the **"Add Block"** button on the left-hand side of the editor.
2. Click it to open a list of input types and features on the right-hand side.

## Step 3: Choose the Barcode Reader

1. Search for or scroll down to find the **"Barcode Reader"** option.
2. Click **"Barcode Reader"** to add it to your form.

## Step 4: Customize the Barcode Reader (Optional)

1. After adding the field, click on it to open its settings panel.
2. Chose the decoder add a pre-filled value, logic or validation.

## Step 5: Save and Publish Your Form

1. Once you’ve added and customized the barcode reader, click **"Save"**.
2. Publish the form to make it available to users.
