# How to allow respondents to edit their form submission?

This features allows your form respondents to edit their submissions at any point in time after submission.  

### Enabling the feature

1. Log into OpnForm and enter your form's editor:

2. Click on "Settings" from the top of the page then Select "Submission Settings" on the left side.

Toggle the "Editable submissions" button on and click "Save changes".

### Editing Form Submissions

If that option is enabled, form respondents will see a new edit button after submission:

They can click it to edit their submission, and they can copy that URL and save it to edit their submission in the future. 

If you also enabled [submission confirmation email](https://help.opnform.com/en/article/how-to-send-an-email-submission-confirmation-to-form-respondents-1y79q7i/), respondents will receive an email that will also contain a link to the submissions edit page.

They will be able to edit their submission whenever it's necessary.


### How to get the edit link for a specific submission

Sometimes you may be need to get a link to edit a specific submission. For instance if a respondent lost their edit link. 
You can easily find it again by doing so:

1. Open the submissions for your form 
2. Click on the edit submission button for your form

3. Click the Public link button to copy the edit URL.
