# How to make a field required?

Looking to make a field mandatory? No worries, We've got you covered! Check out these easy steps on how to require a field:

1. Access the edit page of your form.
2. Navigate to the lower section of the left side.
3. Select the star or asterisk icon.
4. Give it a trial run! Test the form or document to ensure that users are prompted to fill in the required field before they can move forward.

By marking fields as required, users will be prompted to provide valid responses before they can submit the form.
