# How to pre-fill a date field with today's date?

  Here's how to pre-fill a date field with today's date:  
*   Make sure you have a date field in your form
  
*   On the form creation/update page, in the fields list, click the blue cog of the "Date" type column

*   In the settings modal, check the "Date with time" option
