📝 How to Enable Partial Submissions?
Want to capture responses even if users don’t complete the entire form? Enable Partial Submissions to collect valuable input as it's entered—no need for users to hit “Submit.”
Open your form in the Edit Form view.
Click Settings in the upper-right corner.
In the right-hand panel, go to Submission Settings.
Toggle on Collect Partial Submissions.
Click Publish to save your changes.

Once enabled, OpnForm will automatically save and store user input as they fill out the form—giving you more data, fewer drop-offs, and better insights.
A new Status column will appear in your submissions table, indicating whether each entry is Partial or Complete.

Integrations in OpnForm (such as Notion, webhooks, and email notifications) only trigger on complete submissions. This is to ensure that you're working with finalized and intentional data.
For example:
If a user starts filling out your form but leaves before completing it—such as closing the tab or navigating away—OpnForm may still record this as a partial submission if enough data has been entered.
However, since the form wasn't fully submitted:
No integrations will be triggered
You won’t receive an email notification
No data will be sent to Notion, webhooks, or other tools
Only when a user completes the form and clicks “Submit” will the submission be marked as complete, and your configured integrations will run as expected.
