How to update a record on form submission?
Update a record on form submission is only available to users with a Pro subscription.
Sometimes you might want your form submission to edit an existing form submission or record instead of creating a new one. For instance, if you created an attendance form, having your guests to be able to update their participation can be really useful.
Here's how to set this up:
Click on "Settings" from the top of the page then Select "Submission Settings" on the left side.

Log in to OpnForm and open your form.
You’ll automatically be directed to the Submissions tab.

If you need a unique identifier for your form submissions, we can generate a unique ID for each submission. You have the choice between two different formats:
Auto-incremented number: the first submission will have the ID "1", the second will have the ID "2", and so on.
A unique random ID with the UUID format (with the following format: 820f1844-bd04-44a0-aa69-d7e8b77c22ce)

You can pre-fill your forms dynamically by passing some parameters to your form URL. This can be useful for instance, when sending out forms via email to pre-fill the name and email of the person you are sending it to.
To pre-fill your form via URL parameters:
Go to your form edition page (the form must already be created)

Add custom code to your form
Inject your own HTML/JavaScript into your form. Code is injected into the page’s head and runs on the public form page.
