How do I use my own domain?

| Custom domains are only available to Pro users. You can have one per workspace.

To use your domain, you need to accomplish three things.

Step 1: configure your CNAME in your domain settings.

Using your own domain with OpnForm is easy, but you do need to know about DNS to set it up. Here is what to do:

Create a CNAME DNS record pointing from your.domain.com to domains.opnform.com.
Replace your.domain.com with the domain or subdomain of your choice.

The CNAME target domains.opnform.com however, will never change, regardless of the custom domain you're using.

Step 2: In your Opnform account, update your **workspace settings*

Once you have created the CNAME record, log into OpnForm and open your Workspace Settings.

Enter your custom domain (1 per line) and click "save".

How do I add custom code to my form?

Accepted Answer

| Custom code is only accessible to Pro subscribers.

One of customization feature is the injection of custom code within your forms.

There's no limit on what you can do with your own CSS and your own scripts.

You can add an analytics script or even a live chat on your form page.

To add custom code:

Log into OpnForm and enter your form's editor:

Click on "Settings" from the top of the page then Select "Custom Code" on the left side.
Add your code in the box and save your changes.

||| Code changes and previews will only be shown on the public page of your form. Changes won't be shown when you are in editor mode.

Here's a first example you can use to center your logo on a form page:

Can I trigger another service whenever my form receives a submission - WebHooks?

Accepted Answer

You can setup web-hooks for your forms. If enabled, on every successful submission, OpnForm will post the data of the submission to the the specified endpoint.
We recommend the website webhook.site to debug your webhooks.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Log in to your account.
Go to the "Forms" section.
Select the specific form where you want to add the integration.
Click on "Integrations" and choose "Webhook Notification".

Enable the integration by selecting the corresponding option in the pop-up window.

You can also set conditions for sending Webhook Settings.

In the screenshot below, the condition is set for the input field "Name" to be equal to "Archie". This means the webhook will only be triggered if the submitted response for the "Name" field matches exactly with "Archie".

How do I add some logic to my form?

Form logic can be used to build complex logical form. With OpnForm, each field has it's own logical behavior. There are 4 types of possible actions that can be triggered:

Hide field
Show field (if it was previously hidden)
Make field required
Make field optional

For each field, you can define some conditions, and then the actions to execute when these conditions are true. B

Here's how to apply some logic to a field:

Open the form editor
Open the settings for one of your fields (click on the blue cog)
In the opened modal, click on the logic section.

Can I receive notifications on form submissions?

Accepted Answer

You can enable email notifications on your form to be notified whenever someone submits your form.

To enable email notifications:

To get started, log in to your account.
Navigate to the "Forms" section.
Choose the specific form to which you want to add the integration.
Click on "Integrations" and select "Email Notification".

Enable the integration by clicking on the corresponding option in the pop-up window.
Enter the list of emails to which you would like to send notifications, with each email on a separate line. You can use @mentiions by clicking at the @ sign to fill in the email address entered in the form. You can also add your own email to receive emails.
