How to Add a Payment Field and Start Accepting Payments with Stripe?

Want to collect payments directly through your form? Whether you're selling a product, accepting donations, or charging for event registrations, OpnForm makes it easy to connect with Stripe and start collecting money in just a few clicks.

Here’s how to set it up:

🛠 Step-by-Step Setup



Open Your Form in the Editor

Navigate to your form and click on it to open the editor.




Click “Add Block”

In the top-left corner, click the “➕ Add block” button to open the block menu.

Select the “Payment” Block

On the right-hand side, scroll or search for the Payment block. Click to add it to your form.





Connect Your Stripe Account

If you’ve already connected a Stripe account before, you can select it here.

If not, click Connect Stripe Account to begin the connection process.





Authenticate with Stripe

Enter the email associated with your Stripe account and hit Submit.

You’ll be redirected to Stripe. Log in and follow the prompts.

Click Connect to authorize OpnForm to collect payments on your behalf.


Set Your Pricing Details

Once connected, you’ll return to the form editor.

Enter the currency (e.g., USD, EUR) and the amount you’d like to charge.

You can also customize the label or description to let users know what they’re paying for.





Preview and Publish Your Form

Click Preview to see how your form looks.

When you're ready to go live, hit the Publish Form button in the top-right corner.

Once published, users will be able to enter their payment details securely through Stripe right from your form. All payments go straight into your Stripe account—fast, secure, and hassle-free.
